The Audience Solutions Marketing Manager position shapes the way solutions are brought to market and works closely with product owners, Sales, and Customer Service to develop product marketing strategies, and ensure the execution of those strategies across all go-to market activities. This role demonstrates that SHRM’s events, products and services advance the HR profession, and ultimately build a better world of work.

Position Description
Act both strategically and tactically; from the creation of plans and process, to hands-on execution of day-to-day marketing activities.
Develop differentiated and compelling features/benefits messaging that is tailored for target audience segments.
Produce content and collateral mapped to the full buyers’ journey, including product playbooks, presentations, features/benefits assets, digital properties, multimedia and sales tools.
Generate qualifications materials including case studies, testimonials, user research, and performance metrics.
Understand market trends and the competitive landscape. Effectively apply this knowledge to improve go-to-market strategies.
Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing’s impact on product/services revenue.
Own the internal communications of products related information to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
Serve as the marketing liaison with Sales and Customer Service as it relates to the needs of customer acquisition, onboarding, and cross-sell opportunities.
Drive marketing communications related to the direct adoption, usage, and retention of product users.
Facilitate the onboarding and ongoing promotion of business partners and affinity relationships.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
At least eight (8) years of experience in product and/or professional services marketing role, 3+ years of management experience.
Ability to translate complex and technical subject matter into value propositions that resonate with mid-sized to enterprise-tier clients and their leaders.
Broad communications background with demonstrated mix of internal and external communications.
Ability to work cross-functionally and interact with senior stakeholders.
Proven project management skills in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
Analytical mindset, with experience gathering, synthesizing, and mining value from high volumes of data.
An eye for visual presentation, with a track record of delivering world-class marketing and sales assets.
Experience applying marketing technologies, including Salesforce and Marketo (or similar solutions), to product marketing and sales processes.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.
Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Work environment
Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Travel Required: Occasional 0-10%
