SDJ is looking for a Digital Manager to join its growing team of consultants specializing in this unique and challenging work. Responsibilities •       Enhance in-house digital communications capability, including: digital auditing; SEO and SEM; community management; digital monitoring, analytics and reporting across earned, owned and paid media + search, with real-time capability as needed •       Conduct desk-side research with an appreciation for recognizing what is important and with an eye toward informing communications strategy •       Produce written work product, including internal and client-facing reports, analysis, messaging, engagement materials, collateral, etc. •       Serve as project manager on client accounts, as assigned Experience and Attributes •       BA with a minimum of 4 and up to 6 years of experience in public affairs/issues management •       Digital communications experience required •       Former agency and/or political campaign experience preferred •       Motivated and resourceful self-starter with experience or interest in strategic communications, legal and regulatory, politics, and public policy •       Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills •       Strategic and analytical thinker •       Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, including ability to triage a high volume of incoming information and manage competing interests under deadline •       Detail-oriented is a must •       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team •       Interest in and appreciation for current events and the news •       Fluent in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, and GSuite products •       Experience with Lexis Nexis Newsdesk and design software
