DESCRIPTION Stratacomm seeks a well-rounded, account executive with experience managing projects independently and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines simultaneously. This opportunity is for an eager and passionate communicator with a minimum of 2 years of experience. A successful candidate is a generalist with demonstrated ability to execute a wide range of tactics, manage multiple projects simultaneously, be extremely well-organized and detail-oriented, and communicate clearly and effectively. You are a resourceful problem-solver. You can pitch a reporter, develop an event run of show, and build a timeline in Asana—all in a day’s work. Preference for candidates in the Washington, DC or Detroit, MI region but the position is primarily remote. Responsibilities
- Monitor traditional news media and social media, providing daily, weekly and/or monthly reports, as appropriate.
- Write news releases, blog posts, fact sheets, email correspondence, social media copy and other materials.
- Build and maintain outreach lists; including researching reporters, influencers or other stakeholders.
- Draft stakeholder outreach materials and conduct outreach.
- Experience supporting the execution of corporate thought leadership program strategies.
- Conduct research leveraging web-based tools, providing thorough analysis and summaries for clients, agency marketing and new business.
- Schedule and participate in internal and client-facing meetings, take notes and deliver accurate meeting summaries with clear actions.
- Develop and manage timelines for large, multi-faceted campaigns using digital project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Plan, execute and provide onsite support for events of varying sizes and formats.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and build understanding and knowledge of clients’ business.
- Work with team members to develop creative briefs and/or other strategy documents, and coordinate with in-house departments to develop campaign materials such as infographics, social media graphics, digital videos, ads and more.
- Compile measurement and KPI tracking reports for integrated campaigns, as appropriate.
- Support development of results-oriented strategy documents (memos, rollout action plans, annual plans, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot tasks independently and self-awareness to escalate a request for assistance when needed.
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service while ensuring quality controls are in place and deadlines are met.
- Demonstrate good judgment, strategic thinking, and creativity, and provide superb attention to detail.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in communications (internship experience is applicable).
- Highly organized team player with effective time management and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Strong writing skills with knowledge of proper grammar and AP Style writing.
- Superior verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honesty, integrity and a commitment to the highest professional standards.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience in agency setting preferred.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, partnership management and/or integrated campaigns is a plus.
