Adfero is seeking a full-time Account Supervisor with experience and deep interest in digital communications strategies to join our health practice. We’re looking for a candidate who can lead client teams that deploy social media campaigns and stay on the leading edge of how we communicate our clients’ messages and move public perception. We seek critical-thinkers who are collaborative, ambitious, and looking to become a well-rounded communications professionals.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and collaborate with team members to develop digital communications strategies
  • Research and understand key audience segments and data
  • Develop digital content for specific audiences on paid and owned channels
  • Leverage content performance insights to inform editorial planning and content execution
  • Understand complex issues and distilling them for audiences with varying levels of subject matter expertise
  • Be the day-to-day leader on client accounts
  • Participate in business development as needed
  • Work with in-house creative and web teams to leverage digital media channels with shareable content
  • Manage large and complex projects including establishing and maintaining timelines and ensuring quality assurance of all client deliverables
  • Act as a strategic partner to help accomplish the client’s goals
  • Coach and mentor staff and stay up-to-date on client dynamics, positions and messaging, as well as relevant conditions in the external environment

Qualifications

  • There are many skills we consider when reviewing applications, but some things we look for include:
  • 7+ years of experience in digital communications, social media and/or public affairs
  • Fluent in digital media trends, strategies and best practices
  • Research, analysis, and editing skills; ability to understand and explain complex policy issues in an easily-digestible way
  • Strong leadership skills and a desire to continually improve
  • Previous account and/or client management experience preferred
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing projects
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and issues
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline preferred

We are a hybrid company, working in-person in our downtown-DC office three days a week and remotely twice a week.
